Interview guides, resume templates and email templates
Find the role-specific interview guides, resume templates and job search email templates in the iPhone and Android apps, and use them in your preparation.
The iPhone and Android apps include interview guides for popular roles, resume templates you can edit, and email templates for each stage of a job search. They’re built into the app, so you don’t need an account to use them.
Open Resources
Open the Jobs tab
Tap Jobs at the bottom of the screen.
Go to Resources
At the top of the tab, tap Resources.
Choose a collection
Tap Guides on iPhone or Interview Guides on Android, Resume Templates, or Email Templates. To find something specific, type in the search field at the top.
Interview guides
Each guide prepares you for interviews in one role:
| Area | Guides |
|---|---|
| Finance | Investment Banking, Financial Analyst |
| Product and project management | Product Manager, Project Manager |
| Engineering and data | Software Engineer, Data Analyst, Data Scientist, Data Engineer |
| Business and consulting | Consulting, Business Analyst |
Each guide is split into sections of likely interview questions, marked Easy, Medium or Hard, with tips, frameworks, worked examples and likely follow-up questions. To jump to a section, tap the list button at the top right and choose the section.
To practice saying your answers out loud, use an AI mock interview.
Resume templates
Resume Templates has one-page resume templates for university students applying to roles in finance, strategy and product. Tap a template to see a preview, then choose a format under Available formats:
- Microsoft Word: an editable .docx file to fill in with your own details.
- PDF: the same layout as a PDF.
Tapping a format opens the share options. Save the file to Files, or send it to yourself or another app.
Tapping Microsoft Word or PDF asks where to save the file. When it’s saved, you see Saved. To read the PDF without saving it, tap View PDF.
Email templates
Email Templates has ready-to-use messages for common moments, such as thanking an interviewer, following up after no response, rescheduling an interview, and accepting, declining or negotiating an offer.
Choose a template
Each template explains when to use it under When to use it.
Pick a subject line
Choose one of the two options under Subject lines.
Open your email app
Tap Open email app. A new email opens with the subject and body filled in. You can also copy the subject or the body and paste them yourself.
Fill in the details
Replace the details in square brackets, such as the role and company name, before you send the email.
If your email app doesn’t open, your phone may have no email app set up to open the message. On iPhone, you see Unable to open email app. Copy the subject and the email body, then paste them into the email app you use.
