I can’t find the Interview Pilot window
Interview Pilot has no Dock or taskbar icon. Bring its window back with one shortcut, find it on another display, or reopen the app.
Interview Pilot has no Dock or taskbar icon, so it’s designed to stay out of sight. Press ⌘B on a Mac or CtrlB on Windows to bring its window back.
1. Press the show and hide shortcut
If nothing seems to happen, press it once more. The window may have been showing somewhere you weren’t looking, and the first press hid it.
On Windows, Interview Pilot also doesn’t appear when you press AltTab once you’re signed in, so use the shortcut instead.
2. Look on your other displays
Interview Pilot opens where you last left it, so with more than one display, it may be on another one.
- To move it to another display, drag it by its top bar. The arrow shortcuts, such as ⌘← or Ctrl←, move it within the display it’s on.
- If you disconnect a display, Interview Pilot moves its window onto one that’s still connected. The same happens when you open it and its last display isn’t connected.
3. Make sure Interview Pilot is running
If the shortcut does nothing at all, Interview Pilot may not be running. Open it again:
Press ⌘Space to open Spotlight, type Interview Pilot and press Return.
Click Start, type Interview Pilot and press Enter. If Interview Pilot is already running, this brings its window back too.
Shortcuts can’t be changed. If another app uses the same keys, Interview Pilot may not get them. Quit the other app and try again. More about shortcuts.
4. Quit and reopen Interview Pilot
If the window still doesn’t appear, quit Interview Pilot and open it again.
- If you can see the window: open the workspace, go to Account and click Quit App, then Quit.
- If you can’t see it: on a Mac, open Activity Monitor, select Interview Pilot and click the stop button, then Quit. On Windows, open Task Manager, select Interview Pilot and click End task.
Then open Interview Pilot again as in check 3. If the window still doesn’t appear, email us with your computer, its system version and how many displays you use.
