Check service status

Open System Status in the apps or on the web, read what Operational, Busy and Outage mean, and know what to do when Copilot’s service has an outage.

Applies toMacWindowsiPhoneAndroidWeb

System Status shows whether the service behind Copilot’s answers is working normally right now, and how it has worked recently. Check it first when Copilot stops answering for no clear reason. It doesn’t check your own internet connection or device.

Open System Status

WhereHow to open it
Mac and WindowsIn the workspace, click System Status in the sidebar.
iPhone and AndroidOpen the Profile tab and tap System Status, or tap the status at the top right.
WebOpen System Status on the web platform. You don’t need to sign in.

What you see

The top of System Status in the Mac app. The Windows, iPhone and Android apps look much the same.

In the Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android apps:

  • The current status at the top, for example All systems online, with when it was last checked.
  • Last 24 Hours and Past 30 Days, each as a row of colored bars with the share of time the service was up, for example 99.8% uptime.
  • Refresh at the bottom checks again.

On the web, the Service health page shows:

  • The current status, such as All Systems Online, Partial Outage or Major Outage, with when it was updated.
  • 90-day availability, one bar per day.
  • Last 24 Hours, the recent service checks.
  • Refresh checks again.

If the apps show Unable to check status, your device couldn’t reach the status service. Check your internet connection, then click or tap Refresh.

During an outage

  1. You don’t need to report it. System Status already shows it.
  2. Keep Interview Pilot open. If an answer fails, ask for it again. On Mac and Windows, a failed answer shows Failed to generate response. Please try again.
  3. Check back with Refresh. When the status is back to All systems online, try again.

If everything shows Operational

When System Status is green but Copilot still isn’t working, the problem is probably on your device or connection. These articles help:
