Verify your email address
Open the verification email, resend it from the web, iPhone or Android if it expired, and see what verifying changes for accounts made with email, Apple or Google.
When you create an account with an email address and a password, Interview Pilot sends you a verification email. Open it and click Verify Email. Nothing in Interview Pilot is locked while you wait: Copilot, sync and Pro all work before you verify.
Why verify
Verifying confirms that the email address belongs to you. It also decides what happens if you later use Google or Apple with the same address.
If your email isn’t verified and you later sign in with Google or Apple using the same address, Interview Pilot links that sign-in to your account and verifies it. The password you set stops working and your devices are signed out. To use a password again, set a new one with Forgot your password? on the web or Forgot Password? in the phone apps. Change or reset your password.
Accounts you create with Google or Apple don’t need a verification email when Google or Apple has already confirmed the address.
