Restore purchases on iPhone or Android
Get Pro back on a new or reinstalled phone by restoring your App Store or Google Play subscription, and link it to your account.
If you subscribed in the iPhone or Android app and Pro is missing, for example after you reinstall the app or move to a new phone, restore your purchase. The phone must be signed in to the same Apple ID or Google account you subscribed with.
Restore your purchase
Open Subscriptions
In the iPhone app, open Settings and tap Subscriptions.
Restore Purchases is on the Subscriptions screen, under Account. Tap Restore Purchases
The App Store checks your Apple ID for an active Interview Pilot subscription. It may ask you to sign in to your Apple ID.
You can also tap Already Purchased? on the plans screen, below the Continue button.
Open Subscriptions
In the Android app, open Settings and tap Subscriptions.
Tap Restore Purchases
Google Play checks your Google account for an active Interview Pilot subscription.
You can also tap Already Purchased? on the plans screen, below the Continue button.
What the result means
| Message | What it means |
|---|---|
| Purchases Restored | Your subscription was found and Pro is back on this phone. From the plans screen on iPhone, you see Success instead. |
| No Subscription Found | No active subscription was found for the Apple ID or Google account on this phone. See the checks below. |
| Restore Failed | The store couldn’t finish checking. Check your internet connection and try again. |
If no subscription is found
- Check the store account. On iPhone, open the Settings app and tap your name to see which Apple ID you’re using. On Android, open the Google Play app and tap your profile picture. Switch to the account you subscribed with, then restore again.
- Check that the subscription is still active. If it was canceled and its period has ended, there’s nothing to restore. You can subscribe again.
- Did you subscribe on the web or from your computer? Restore only finds App Store and Google Play purchases. Sign in to your Interview Pilot account in the phone app instead, and Pro turns on.
- Did you subscribe on your other kind of phone? An iPhone purchase can’t be restored on Android, or the other way around. Sign in to the same Interview Pilot account on both phones, and Pro carries over through your account.
Link the purchase to your account
Restoring brings Pro back to the phone, with or without an Interview Pilot account. If you’re signed in when you restore, the purchase is also linked to your account, so Pro works on your Mac, Windows PC and the web too.
If you aren’t signed in, sign in to the phone app with the account you use on your other devices. Learn how one subscription covers all your devices.
