Signing out
Sign out of Interview Pilot on Mac, Windows, iPhone, Android or the web, and see what happens to the work on that device.
Signing out removes your account’s work from that device. Everything stays in your account and comes back when you sign in again. Signing out on one device doesn’t sign you out anywhere else.

If you see “Unsynced changes”
On Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android, Interview Pilot sends any waiting changes to your account before you sign out. If it can’t, usually because the device is offline, you see:
Unsynced changes: “Some of your recent changes haven’t been saved to your account yet. Connect to the internet to save them before signing out.”
- Choose Cancel, connect to the internet, then sign out again. Your changes are saved first.
- Choose Sign Out Anyway only if you don’t need those changes. They’re discarded and can’t be recovered.
What happens on the device
| Device | After you sign out |
|---|---|
| iPhone and Android | Your account’s profiles, documents, history, folders and practice are removed from the phone. The app keeps working signed out, starting empty. Your app settings stay. |
| Mac and Windows | Your account’s work is removed from the computer and the app shows Welcome to Interview Pilot. You need to sign in again to use it. |
| Web | You’re signed out in that browser. Nothing is stored there. |
If an interview is in progress on a phone when you sign out, it’s cleared.
Sign back in
Sign in with the same account, and your work downloads to the device again. Changes you discarded with Sign Out Anyway don’t come back.
If you sign in on a phone with a different account, the phone shows that account’s work instead. Switching accounts on a phone explains how anything you created while signed out is handled.
