Your data and privacy
What Interview Pilot stores in your account and on your devices, what a diagnostic report contains, and how to delete your data or ask for a copy.
When you’re signed in, your interview profiles, history and practice are stored in your Interview Pilot account so they can sync between your devices. Audio recordings you make on a phone stay on that phone. You can delete single items or your whole account at any time.
What’s stored in your account
- Account details: your email address, username, and the profile picture and bio if you add them.
- Interview profiles: everything you enter, including custom instructions. For documents, the text read from each file. Files added on the web, Mac or Windows are stored too. On iPhone and Android, only the text is saved to your account.
- Interview history: transcripts, the questions detected and the answers Copilot gave.
- Practice: your practice sessions and their evaluations. For AI mock interviews on the web, the recording of your answers is saved with the session.
- Folders and items in Recently Deleted, for 30 days.
- Scheduled interviews, if you use Schedule Interviews in the phone app.
- Your plan: whether you have Pro and where you subscribed. Card details for web payments are handled by our payment processor, not stored by Interview Pilot.
What stays on your device
- Phone recordings. Audio recordings of interviews and practice made in the iPhone or Android app are never uploaded to your account. You can only play them on the phone that recorded them.
- Everything on a phone used without an account. Nothing is saved to an account until you sign in. Use the phone app without an account.
- App settings, such as appearance, Copilot settings and the profile selected for interviews.
How sync works lists exactly what syncs.
When you use Copilot
To transcribe speech and write answers, Copilot processes what it hears, your selected interview profile and any context you add, such as notes or screenshots, over the internet. Our Privacy Policy explains how this information is handled and which providers help process it.
Diagnostic reports
The Mac, Windows, iPhone and Android apps can attach a diagnostic report when you contact support. It’s only created when Include Diagnostic Report is on, and it’s attached to an email you review and send yourself.
| A diagnostic report includes | It never includes |
|---|---|
| Your signed-in account email and ID | Audio |
| Recent technical events | Transcripts |
| App and device information | Prompts |
| Permissions | Passwords or other credentials |
| Sanitized settings | Payment information |
Turn off Include Diagnostic Report if you’d rather not send one. Contact support explains where to find it.
Delete your data
- One interview or practice session: delete it in History. It moves to Recently Deleted, where you can restore it for 30 days. After that, or when you delete it there, it’s permanently deleted from your account and every device.
- An interview profile or document: deleting it removes it straight away. It can’t be restored.
- A folder: the interviews inside it aren’t deleted.
- Your whole account: see Delete your account.
Ask for a copy of your data
There’s no button to download all your data at once. To ask for a copy, or for any other privacy request, email Support@LiberaceAI.com from the address on your account. We may ask you to confirm that the account is yours.
For the full details, read our Privacy Policy.
