For most Filipino job seekers, the AI interview assistant to pick is Interview Pilot, because it runs on Android and iPhone as well as a laptop, includes free live answers every week, and lets you practice phone-screen answers on the device you already own. Uhired AI is an iPhone-only alternative built with BPO and call center applicants in mind, LockedIn AI offers phone apps with peso pricing in the App Store, and Final Round AI alone names Filipino as an interview language, though it runs on desktop only. In BPO hiring, the language and typing tests come before any interview, and those should be taken unaided.

Disclosure: Interview Pilot publishes this guide. Since it makes one of the assistants compared, product facts are taken from each vendor's own website and app store listings, and hiring and legal details from employers and Philippine government sources, all checked on October 21, 2026.

How BPO and corporate hiring works

At business process outsourcing (BPO) companies such as Concentrix, language and systems skills are screened before the interview. The Concentrix careers FAQ says its recruiters reach out by phone, then by email or text message if you don't answer. Applicants are invited by email to language or competency tests on Harver, a virtual assessment platform, covering language proficiency, computer skills, customer support and typing. Work-from-home roles also test your internet speed and system requirements, and the timer starts as soon as you open a module.

Accenture publishes its candidate rules on a Philippines careers page about AI use. It allows AI for researching the company, improving a resume and rehearsing. It does not permit AI to complete assessments, naming language tasks specifically, unless explicitly stated, or AI products that generate your answers during an interview, and it states that proctoring tools and AI-detection methods are in use.

That leaves one clear role for an assistant in BPO hiring: getting your spoken answers ready before the phone screen and the HR interview. The phone screen questions guide and the customer service interview questions cover what those rounds usually ask.

Filipino, English and Taglish in interviews

The 1987 Constitution makes Filipino and English the official languages of the Philippines for communication and instruction, with regional languages as auxiliary official languages in their regions. When a BPO test measures language proficiency, as Concentrix's does, your English is the thing being assessed, not just the medium. A local role or a friendly warm-up may still slip into Filipino or Taglish, a mix of Tagalog and English.

Final Round AI143 locales across 76 languagesYes
Verve AI38 languagesNo
LockedIn AI45+ languages, with a bilingual mode for English and Spanish onlyNo
Uhired AINot stated; listing language is EnglishNo

For an English interview, set the assistant to English rather than auto-detect, so a few Filipino words don't throw the transcript into the wrong language. If you expect a round in Filipino, open the tool's language list and test it with a short recording before relying on it.

Applying from a phone

If your phone is your only device, and the recruiter's first move is a call, a phone-based assistant has to cope with both. The apps differ more than their marketing suggests.

  • Interview Pilot has iPhone and Android apps that listen through the microphone. Its guide to using your phone during an interview says the phone can't hear a call on the same phone or audio that plays only in headphones, so the call needs to come from a second device on speaker. On Android, the app doesn't keep the screen on, and if the screen turns off or you switch apps, Android may stop it hearing anything; set a long screen timeout first.
  • Uhired AI is an iPhone app whose App Store listing describes resume-based practice questions, mock interviews, flashcards and live answer prompts during video interviews. Its website names BPO, call center and customer service applicants, especially in the Philippines, as a core audience. Its site lists only the iOS app.
  • LockedIn AI has iPhone and Android apps, and its mobile app page suggests setting the phone beside your laptop during a real interview.
  • Verve AI runs in a phone browser; its mobile page expects the call on one device and its web app open on a second one.
  • Final Round AI needs its macOS or Windows app.

Peso prices and what you actually pay

App store plans are billed in pesos; website plans are mostly in U.S. dollars. The table reflects each vendor's listing on October 21, 2026.

AssistantListed priceNotes
Interview PilotFree plan with weekly limits; Pro on its pricing pageU.S. dollars on the web; in-app plans billed by Apple or Google
Uhired AIPro ₱799 or ₱999 a month, ₱2,990 a quarter, ₱3,990 a yeariPhone only; listing says no refund after purchase
LockedIn AIiPhone app: Unlimited ₱8,990 a month or ₱17,990 for 3 months; Credits ₱4,990 a monthWeb plans in U.S. dollars from $39.99 a month billed every 3 months
Verve AIPro $84.99 a month, or $34.99 a month billed annually; Standard $44.99 or $16.99No peso option on its currency switch
Final Round AIMonthly $150; Yearly $25 a month billed annuallyNo free trial of live sessions

Uhired AI's yearly plan is the lowest listed peso figure for a full year, but it only works on an iPhone. Without paying, Interview Pilot gives you three interview sessions, ten Copilot answers and half an hour of premium transcription each week, enough to rehearse a phone screen and test your setup. Its pricing page shows Pro in U.S. dollars, adding that the amount can vary slightly with your location.

Interview Pilot is placed first because no other option in this table pairs Android and iPhone apps with desktop apps and free live answers every week, which matters most when an Android phone is your main device. It doesn't name Filipino among its interview languages, and its phone apps need the interview playing aloud nearby. Uhired AI is a reasonable choice for an iPhone user focused on BPO rounds, and Final Round AI for a laptop user interviewing partly in Filipino.

Night shifts, U.S. clients and Philippine time

Philippine Time stays at UTC+8 year-round, so interviews with teams in the U.S. tend to land in your evening. A 9:00 a.m. call in New York starts at 9:00 p.m. in Manila, and from November 1, 2026, when the U.S. returns to standard time, the same call starts at 10:00 p.m. If a recruiter asks about graveyard shifts, answer honestly about your availability and commute, because the schedule is part of the job.

Interview Pilot's free account limits roll over at 8:00 a.m. Manila time every Monday, which is 00:00 UTC; the weekly limits guide explains which limits count per device and which per account.

Data privacy and recording interviews

The Data Privacy Act of 2012 gives you the right to be told how your personal information is processed, to see it, to have errors corrected and to have it blocked or removed when it is outdated, false or no longer needed. It can also apply to processing outside the Philippines when it concerns Philippine citizens or residents and the organisation has a link to the country, such as doing business there.

Those rules cut both ways. An assistant holds your resume and transcripts, so check who runs it and how to delete your data. And a recording of the interview captures the recruiter's voice too. Interview Pilot's phone apps save interview audio while Record Interview Audio is on, which it is until you switch it off, so turn it off unless everyone on the call has agreed to be recorded.

What to check locally before you apply

  • Fees for documents. Republic Act No. 11261, the First Time Jobseekers Assistance Act, waives government fees and charges for documents required in a first-time jobseeker's employment application.
  • Official contact. Concentrix says its recruiters contact you by phone first, then email or text; treat messages from other channels with care and check them against the employer's careers site.
  • Rules for the round. Ask whether the HR interview allows notes, and never use an assistant on a language, typing or competency assessment.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best AI interview assistant in the Philippines?

Interview Pilot fits most applicants, because a single plan works on Android, iPhone and a laptop, with free live answers every week. Uhired AI suits iPhone users preparing for BPO interviews, and Final Round AI suits laptop users who interview partly in Filipino.

Can I use an AI assistant in a BPO interview?

Not in the assessments. BPO employers such as Concentrix test language, typing and customer support skills online, and Accenture's Philippines page forbids AI on language tasks and assessments unless stated, with proctoring in place. Use an assistant to rehearse your phone screen and HR answers beforehand, and check with the recruiter what is allowed in the interview.

Do AI interview assistants understand Filipino or Taglish?

Final Round AI names Filipino among its 76 languages. Verve AI and LockedIn AI don't list it, and Interview Pilot's help center doesn't name it among its examples. For English interviews, set the assistant to English so occasional Filipino words don't confuse the transcript.

Is there an AI interview app for Android in the Philippines?

Yes. Interview Pilot and LockedIn AI both have Android apps, and Verve AI works in an Android phone browser. Uhired AI is listed only for iPhone.

How much does an AI interview assistant cost in pesos?

On October 21, 2026, Uhired AI listed Pro from ₱799 a month and ₱3,990 a year in the App Store, and LockedIn AI's iPhone app listed Unlimited at ₱8,990 a month. Interview Pilot has a free plan with weekly limits, with Pro prices on its pricing page.
